The heart-rending story of a woman who sacrifices the best part of her youth to bring up her three sons only to be renounced by them when they grow up.
This is the story of the journey of a woman from a young and much loved wife, to a widow and mother of three children and her struggle to give them a good life.Gulnaz, played by Faiza Hassan, becomes a young struggling mother when her husband dies in an accident. In order to support her family, she starts selling pakoras on the road side, and soon her pakoras become so famous that she is able to send her two sons Aashiq and Mashooq to an English medium school. Her third son Mahboob, who is a little slow mentally, becomes her helping hand in work.
Forgetting about her youth and beauty, she throws herself into work, hoping that one day she will be able to see all her sons stand on their feet and reap the rewards of her hard work. But things turn out differently.Her sons grow up to be ashamed of her very existence, and each acts on his own selfish needs, completely forgetting all that she has sacrificed for them.
One of them dreams of getting married to the daughter of a very rich man, and in order to be accepted by his father-in-law portrays Gulnaz as his evil step mother who has squandered away his father’s millions. The second sells all the jewels Gulnaz has collected for his wife to be, and runs away abroad.Will Gulnaz ever have the happy family that she and her loving husband dreamed of? Or has all her sacrifice been a waste?
